Continuing Students (Returners)

Applications for 2009 are now OPEN

Returners forThe Halls, Terraces, Units & Orde House should re-apply before 24 October.

Returners applying for RHV Villas and Properties must re-apply and have their group application forms in by 10 October.

How to apply - Continuing (current LTU) students are required to reapply or apply for accommodation on-line. There are 3 categories of continuing student:

* returning resident (student currently in any residence),

* ex-resident (previously lived on campus but not currently ... please email the Office so we can activate your access to re-apply),

* current (La Trobe) student applying to live on campus for the first time must complete a New Application (see below) and select preferred option as a '2009 New <residence>' (unless applying for The Villas).

Criteria & allocation
(Returning) Students (including ex-residents) who have not lived in the residence for which they are applying will have reference checks. References will be sought from the other residence.

All applicants must complete a Code of Conduct. Applications will only be considered on the completion of this form.

All continuing applicants will be advised of the outcome of their application (selection-allocation) by the last week of October.

Re-applications
Select your preferred residence for "Returners Only", (e.g. 2009 Returning Terraces).

Reapplicants - to re-apply, track your application, update your records, make a room preference, or enquire about your account: RE-APPLY . Please check all your details are accurate and complete (mobile, email, address, course, etc). Changes should be made via the Update tab.

First time (New) applicants - please complete a New Application

Villa applications & appointments
Applicants for The Villas and properties must collect from the Office, a "Group Application Package" - one per group, (now available).

The application documents must be completed and returned prior to the interview or at time of booking an interview time. Please book an interview, which will be held during the week of 22 - 26 October. You must also lodge your individual application/reapplication on-line.

Login: 'Your RMS ID'
Password: 'RMS ID followed by the first 2 letters of your last name, first name and (if registered on our system) middle name (or two **)'. e.g. John Smith ID 9090 would be
Login: '9090'
Password: '9090smjo**' (however, it's expected, you've already changed your password ... if so then use 'your-set' password)

Room preferences (refer to Updates) can be made to indicate your preferred room of choice (at Terraces, Orde, Units, Halls). This should be done to indicate your room preference for the residence for which you've applied. NOTE: Room preferences can only be made once your application request has been processed (acknowledged by email).
