Reslife - living on campus (at the Ressies)

When you choose to come and live on campus at La Trobe University, Bendigo you're choosing more than just a room that is close to your classes. You are choosing:

  • to be a part of a living and learning community
  • to be led and caringly supported by a Residence Life Coordinator, Residential Supervisors and a team of Resident Assistants
  • to be given academic support by a team of Resident Academic Mentors
  • to be given IT support by a team of Resident IT Assistants
  • to be a member of your residence student club
  • to make friends for life
  • to be able to attend a range of academic, personal and professional programs
  • be involved in international cultural programs and study tours
  • to adhere to some behavioural guidelines shaped on being thoughtful and respectful of others
  • to be able to participate in inter-residential sporting activities
  • to grow personally and develop responsible independence
  • to have a variety of leadership opportunities
  • to have your view of the world expanded as you live with people from all parts of the world and different walks of life
  • to develop social skills that will prepare you to succeed in the 'big wide world'
  • to live by common sense expectations and rules.

As you can see, living on campus is a life-enhancing experience, in which you have the opportunity to grow and learn as much as you do from your university course…. as long as you come with a positive attitude and a willingness to participate. We look forward to seeing your application.
