First Year Applications

Closing date for initial consideration of 1st Year applications for 2010 is Sunday 20 December 2009.

Each residence has a different lifestyle so it is important to understand which residence best suits your needs before completing your application.

If you have not yet visited the residences then please consider taking a personal tour. Our staff are running tours every Friday from 2pm to 3pm at the Centre for Residence Life. Bookings must be made by contacting 5444 7425 or emailing us.

Demand is high for on-campus accommodation. Make sure you select only your preferred residence, as we do not allow more than one application request in total.

Do NOT type full words in CAPITALS or lowercase e.g. Your Name not YOUR NAME nor your name.

Remember - Ensure all information provided is valid and accurate. Your email address should be a personal contact that is regularly checked. It is vital your email address is correct.

To apply for accommodation (one application only in total) complete a New Application and select your preferred residence for "2010 New" at The Halls of Residence, The Terraces, The Units or Orde House (e.g. 2010 New Halls of Residence).

On receipt of your application request you will be sent confirmation by automated email. This email contains relevant information including details of your RMS ID (5 digits) and your password.

A short-time later, we will send you additional information and a 'Residence Applicant Survey' that will assist our selection. Mailing of these will begin mid-September.

All applicants must complete and submit a 'Residence Applicant Survey' to be eligible for consideration. The information provided on this form is used by the Residence Life staff to make selections for residency. You will also be requested to supply two passort photos.
