- Our Musculoskeletal Research Centre is home to our Gait Analysis Laboratory — the largest lab of its type in the southern hemisphere.
- Our School of Accounting provides all full time research students with office space, stationery, their own computer and the same access to school facilities as academic staff.
- Our healthcare scholars have access to Sim Man 3G, a lifelike silicon latex mannequin used for healthcare training at the Hume Clinical Simulation Learning Centres.
- We're a foundation investor of the Australian Synchrotron. Foundation investors have preferential access to 30 per cent of the facility's capacity.
- Our Department of Chemistry offers high-end equipment including crystallography, high performance computing, electrochemistry and a Shimadzu instrument laboratory. Students can access the La Trobe Institute for Molecular Science (LIMS), a multi-million dollar complex housing world-class research and learning facilities.
