Research Services

Michelle has in excess of 20 years of administrative experience in the education, financial services, and health & community arenas, having previously worked at both Melbourne University and RMIT. Most recently, she worked in the Bouverie Centre at La Trobe, holding a role with responsibilities in finance, human resources and contract/research negotiation and liaison. She will bring this experience and skills developed within the university environment to the Research Services unit and provide quality support for research development services within La Trobe University.

Michelle is the Research Development Associate for the Faculty of Science, Technology and Engineering. This involves providing administrative support to Renee Alford, the Senior Research Development Officer for this faculty. Her role is to primarily to negotiate and assist Renee to provide quality support to the faculty to achieve contracts, funding and research goals for this faculty.
