Lynda is Secretary to the University Genetic Manipulation Supervisory Committee and is the primary contact for researchers seeking advice on gene technology legislation and guidelines. Lynda's background is in science, education, training and Human Resources, and she has a Bachelor of Marine studies (Hons) from the University of Queensland and Graduate Diploma of Education from Melbourne University. Lynda is writing her PhD thesis based on research conducted in the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Department at James Cook University and she commenced with the Research Compliance team in July 2010.
