Higher Research Degrees Guidelines and InformationThe Higher Degrees Committee (Research), the committee responsible for research training at La Trobe has approved guidelines to assist research students, their supervisors and other staff concerned with research training, that is higher research degrees. These guidelines provide more detail than contained in the Policies and Procedures and are subordinate to them. Guidelines
HDR reference informationThe following documents are intended primarily for staff involved in research training. Information oriented to students' needs is available on the Information for HDR Students web pages. The documents here include links and references to other authorative University documents such as Policies and Statues. These documents will be updated when necessary and as the development of research training at LTU progresses. If you find inaccuracies, inconsistencies or gaps within them please email Roger Palmer (Executive Officer of Andrew Brennan PVC(Graduate Research)). Alternatively problems can be addressed by the Higher Degrees Committee (Research) (Colleen Cocks, secretariat). Policies and ProceduresPolicies are approved by the University Council and Procedures that are approved by the Academic Board are presented to Council.
