Physical Containment Facility Training

All Notifiable Low Risk Dealings (NLRD) must be conducted by persons suitably trained in Physical Containment Level 1 or Level 2 requirements. The GMSC has developed an online training module & quiz which must be successfully completed by all staff / students. A certificate will be issued - a copy of which must be presented to the lab supervisor prior to being allowed access to work in the facility. The lab supervisor must keep a copy of the certificate as part of their PC2 Facility Manual - within the authorised personnel register.

To obtain access to the module:

• Staff and student profiles need to be added to the Learning Management System (LMS) WebCT
• To request access to the LMS (WebCT) training module please send your full name, ID number and LTU email address to the GMSC secretary
• Upon successful completion of the module via the quiz, a certfificate will be issued
