Multi-centre Project with External Chief Investigator

La Trobe University staff or facilities may be involved in collaborative projects that have been assessed and approved by an external Institutional Biosaftey Committee (IBC). Whilst approval by another IBC may be given, the GMSC must review the project to ensure it has properly assessed the risks to La Trobe University staff or facilities.

Please note that the GMSC members have signed confidentiality agreements should there be any concern over applications containing Confidential Commercial Information.

Researchers planning to be involved or having facilities involved need to complete a registration form, attach a copy of the approval letter and application (assessed by external IBC) and submit it to the GMSC for consideration.

• Attach approval letter (from external IBC)
• Attach approved application (from external IBC)
• Submit electronically to gmsc@latrobe.edu.au
