Research Facilities

The Centre for Research on Language Diversity is a modern, well equipped centre, catering for linguists who are serious about language documentation and typological generalisation. There are twenty six offices in the building, each with a PC computer connected to the internet, with printing access in the building.

There is also a photocopier with scanning and emailing functionality in the building. CRLD boasts a growing Book Collection kept in the Reading Room, which may also be used as a seminar room with data projection facilities.

Through the generosity of the Vice-Chancellor of La Trobe University, a nearby building has been refurbished into ten comfortable apartments and units for the use of CRLD's distinguished Visiting Fellows, Research Fellows and PhD students.
