1997 International Workshop:


Valency Changing Derivations
18th - 23rd August

Our First International Workshop on Valency-changing Derivations was held from 18th - 23rd August 1997. Changing Valency - book
Papers from the workshop are contained in the volume called Changing Valency: studies in transitivity, edited by Dixon and Aikhenvald and published by Cambridge University Press in early 2000. Following the editors' Introduction and 'A typology of causatives: form, syntax and meaning' by Dixon, there are the following chapters:
