Quality management
The Pro Vice-Chancellor (Quality Enhancement) has portfolio responsibility for quality management and enhancement across the University.
In 2003 The University Council endorsed a quality management framework based upon ongoing self-review at Organisational Unit level for all academic and administrative units of the University. This self-review is intended to be built into all activities to facilitate a process of continuous improvement.
In 2009, the Academic Board and Council endorsed an updated version of the framework, the Continuous Quality Improvement Framework. An additional document, Elements of the Quality Improvement Framework was also endorsed.
Responsibility for undertaking self-review and reporting outcomes against objectives at Unit level falls to the Dean, Head of School, Manager or Director of each academic or administrative unit within the University.
