Conference Grants

This year the PHSA will be offering Conference Grants to members. This means that you can receive a reimbursement for your attendance at a Public Health conference! There are limited numbers, so get in quick!

  • For conferences costing over $400, a maximum of $200 can be applied for.
  • For conferences costing less than $400, 50% of the total cost can be applied for.
  • The conference must be related to Public Health
  • Applicants must be active PHSA members. If you are unable to attend the weekly meetings there are a number of ways in which you can still be an active member. Visit our projects and social events pages for ideas on how you can get more involved with the PHSA.
  • Successful applicants must write a report about the conference they attended, present it to the committee at a weekly meeting, and agree for the report to be published in the PHSA newsletter and on this website.
  • Further conditions can be found on page 1 of the application form.
