2008 Graduation and Alumni Dinner
- Venue: The Centre Ivanhoe, 275 Upper Heidelberg Rd, Ivanhoe - The Streeton Room
- Date: Friday 21st November
- Time: 7pm-midnight
- Who: All graduating students, alumni, staff, friends and family are welcome to attend this momentous occasion.
- Cost: $70
- Tickets include a 3 course meal, beer, wine, champagne, soft drink, entertainment and more!
- Tickets will be available to purchase online soon, or can be arranged by emailing info@phsa.org.au or call/sms 0410 024 232.
*Please note this is not the La Trobe official graduating ceremony. It is a social dinner to celebrate graduation, and for alumni and current students to meet and reunite! - The official graduation ceremony does not involve a dinner or social aspect.
Shoesday
A student group from Community Health Promotion is organised an event called 'Shoesday'. They are working in partnership with Berry Street, which is an organisation who works with children from troubled backgrounds. They are fundraising to purchase shoes for these kids. This fundraising involves coin collections, and a bbq lunch on Tuesday the 14th October.
Masquerade Ball!
The Masquerade Ball was a huge success! Thankyou to everyone who helped organise the night and everyone who attended, you all made it the fantastic night that it was!

PHSA Library
The Public Health Students' Association is beginning our very own library. This will enable students who are unable to access text books for whatever reason to come to our resource room and read or photocopy the resources they require for their Public Health units.
Special thanks to Penny Smith, Paul O'Halloran, Susan Malcolm, Liz Morrison, and Lindsay Paul for their generous donations!!
We need more books to help fill our library. If you have any resources you would like to donate please email info@phsa.org.au and we will come and collect them from you.

Cruisin' in the 70's Boat Cruise
23rd April 2008, a fantastic event on the wonderful Victoria Star! Everyone got dressed up, down and boogied with the great 70s music!

First ever Health Sciences Graduation Dinner
Graduating students, families, staff and friends attending this wonderful function at 'The Centre Ivanhoe'. Fantastic food, wine and music set the scene for a night full of fun celebrations. We can't wait for the 2008 Graduation Dinner now!!!
Oversized Accessories Ball 30th August 2007
A huge success!!!Thanks to everyone who helped organise the night, the Faculty of Health Sciences, and Health Super for contributing financially to the event too!
Special thanks to everyone who attended!!It was an awesome night and we will defniitely do it again next year!!!

First Year Welcome BBQ, May 2nd 2007
This BBQ gave the PHSA and new Health Science students a great informal environment to meet and have a chat about uni life and the plans of the PHSA for 2007. Lots of students signed up as new members which is fantastic!

2006 Boat Cruise
With over 280 people attending, the Boat Cruise was a huge success! The theme 'A Hint of Rebel' was portrayed in many, many different ways, and everyone had a fantastic night. Thank-you to everybody who attended, and special thanks to all those who helped us raise $400 which we have donated to Angel Flight Australia!
