Student CardsFor new students to obtain a student ID cards and to renew existing cards for existing students: La Trobe Student Cards can be used for a variety of purposes on campus. They are used as a library card, can be activated to provide swipe card access to buildings (only for certain postgraduate students), and can be charged to pay for photocopying, printing, parking as well as some food and business services at the Bundoora campus. In order to renew or get a new card, you need to have been enrolled to the semester and preferably received your statement of account for the current year. If you have not received your statement of account within 4 weeks of enrolment, please contact the student centre on 03 9479 2005 to follow up. New StudentsNew student cards can be organised either at Bundoora or City campus. BUNDOORA – Go to the La Trobe Card Centre with your statement of account. You will have your picture taken and a card will be issued on the spot. CITY – Go to reception, fill out a request for card form, have your picture taken and your card will be posted to you. Continuing StudentsRenewal of student cards can be organised wither at Bundoora or via post. BUNDOORA – Go to the La Trobe Card Centre with your current card. Your card will be renewed on the spot. POST – Mail in your card to the La Trobe Card Centre at Bundoora, with a cover note requesting that your card is renewed. Your renewed card will be sent to you. Student OnLineStudent OnLine can be used to check results and unit enrolments as well as other information such as fee balances and advanced standing. After you have enrolled and received your statement of account you can access Student OnLine. To do so: Unit Enrolment:You can check which units you are enrolled in and have completed at any time during your enrolment. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT AT THE START OF EACH SEMESTER YOU CHECK STUDENT ONLINE TO ENSURE THAT YOUR ENROLMENT IS CORRECT FOR THE SEMESTER. If you need to make any changes to your enrolment you may do so up to census date. To make changes, please fill out the Variation of Enrolment form and fax / post to the relevant postgraduate administration officer. All forms received will be acknowledged via your student email account. If you do not get a confirmation email within a week, please contact the relevant office as it would mean they DID NOT receive your form. IMPORTANT: It is important that your units are correct. After census date you will be charged for any subject you are enrolled in and printed on your record even if you never attended the classes. Likewise, if you are not enrolled in a subject but attend classes and hand in assignments, you will not get a grade and the subject will not count towards your course. Results:Results can be accessed via Student OnLine on and after their official release dates. The Study Skills Assistance SchemeThe Study Skills assistance Scheme aims to provide students in the Faculty of Health Sciences with study skills assistance beyond that which can be readily provided by individual members of academic staff.
