Ethics in Research

• The university Handbook for Candidates and Supervisors for Masters Degrees by Research and Doctoral Degrees can be accessed from the RGSO web site.
• The School of Public Health's Information for Higher Degree Students has a section devoted to ethics in research.

Ethics Approval Forms

The University has developed a Common Human Ethics Application Form and Guidelines for projects, which are now available and ready for use (to be used instead of the Faculty Human Ethics application form and guidelines for projects). These documents can be downloaded from the following web site http://www.latrobe.edu.au/health/ethics.html.

The Faculty's Prac Class application form and guidelines will continue to be used. Please ensure that any future human ethics applications are submitted on the new form and in accordance with the new guidelines.
