Department of Counselling & Psychological Health

The Department of Counselling and Psychological Health offers post graduate coursework degrees in humanistically-oriented counselling, counselling psychology and art therapy. The courses share a focus on contemporary theory and practice, and an experiential mode of program delivery. We aim to produce graduates who are able to maintain effective therapeutic relationships and client outcomes across a diverse range of clients nad settings. All our courses are highly rated by students.

The Department has a strong research profile and offers research supervision for PhD, Professional Doctorates and Research Masters. We currently supervise over 30 higher degree research students. As can be seen from the individual staff profiles, a wide variety of research interests is represented.
