Department of Counselling & Psychological Health

Department staff introduce psychological, mental health and holistically-based clinical concepts to undergraduate Health Science students; they also teach communication skills and interpersonal processes. At post graduate level, staff also teach a variety of accredited humanistically-oriented counselling, counselling psychology and art therapy courses. Whilst maintaining academic rigour, a feature of the Department's postgraduate courses, highly appreciated by students, is their experiential mode of program delivery. As can be seen from the individual staff profiles, a wide variety of research interests is represented within the Department of Counselling and Psychological Health.
