She is the Coordinator of the post graduate Art Therapy courses at La Trobe. In her extensive work in program development she has been particularly involved with the development of professional standards in Art Therapy Training Programs and ethical issues specific to art therapy practice. She has extensive experience as an art psychotherapist in clinical art therapy practice working with adults, adolescents and families from diverse cultural backgrounds, with a wide range of issues including identity, relationship issues, family art therapy, depression, post trauma stress disorder, holocaust survivors and their families. Her research interests include experiential art therapy processes; narrative in images and words: visual culture; perception; limitations of seeing and insight; PTSD; 'hardiness' resilience and the capacity for change. Hannah is a professional member of Australian Art Therapy Association (ANATA) and a certified, registered Art Therapist and art therapy supervisor by the Israeli Creative and Expressive Therapies Association (ICET). She was a National Board member of ICET, chairperson of Tel Aviv Art Therapy Division, as well as serving on various committees.
