School of Public HealthHigher Degree Research Students/ProfilesPatrick GleesonPatrick Gleeson is a MICA Paramedic with the Rural Ambulance Victoria. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Business (Economics, Monash) and an MBA (SCU). In 2000, Patrick joined a La Trobe University based group undertaking a project titled ‘Achieving Better Rural Health Outcomes through Rural Nursing’. Patrick’s PhD study focuses on identifying new sources of casemix funding for small rural hospitals. Thesis topic: Nurse Initiated Primary Care in Victorian Rural Hospitals.
