School of Public HealthChina Health ProgramThe La Trobe China Health Program, a program within the School of Public Health, aims to contribute to the development of health care in China through teaching, research and project cooperation. The La Trobe China Health Program (CHP) works in association with Chinese universities and other organisations in China to build academic capacity in health management education, health services research and health policy research and teaching. TeachingCHP contributes to the training of health service managers through short courses, the Postgraduate Diploma in Health Services Management . and the Master of Health Administration. The program contributes to training health service and health policy researchers through the Doctoral research program. Please see our courses page for further information.
ResearchCHP is engaging with the challenges of health development in China through a number of active research programs in the areas of community health services, hospital information systems, national health information policy and privatisation. DevelopmentCHP is involved in a number of cooperative development projects in the areas of health promotion, regional planning and rural health development. Current News
