The best thing about my course is...all of it! Even if I’m not particularly in love with a subject; but still need to complete it, my lecturers are extremely supportive and I couldn’t ask for more. They are always willing to sacrifice time to answer my questions. All of the La Trobe staff are very friendly. The other students are from different backgrounds and that makes class interesting. My favourite subjects in the course have been Web Development and Multimedia Authoring, they were lots of fun.
I have a job as a Student IT Support Officer at the Bendigo campus. Its great, I get to experience different areas of IT which complement my degree and I get to earn money which means that I can eat!
There are a lot of things that simply cannot be taught in the lecture theatre and it is fantastic to be able to have the opportunity to fine tune my skills before heading back out in to the ‘real world’.
