The Podiatry Students' Association

This association serves two purposes: to organise social events for the podiatry student body, and to act as a formal link between students and podiatry staff/the university. PODSA meets regularly with the staff to address any concerns that students may have.

In 2003, PODSA has been revitalised with many functions and activities planned - be part of it!

Positions within PODSA:
President The big cohuna. The figurehead who has overall responsibility for the association.
Vice-President(s) Assists the president with ongoing activities.
Treasurer Beancounter. Looks after the association's accounts.
Year Representatives A student who co-ordinates passing on information to their year - for example, ticket sales for functions, relaying information from PODSA meetings.
Financial members Podiatry students who have paid a token amount ($10 for 2003) which entitles them to vote in the association's elections, and discounts on association events and goods (eg. t-shirts, keyrings).
Podantics editor(s) and contributing writers They piece together the student yearbook which is then sold for minimal profit (most funding comes via advertising).
