Manipulation of the Talonavicular Joint

 

 

Pre manipulation

DP view- date- 05/01/01

Angle made by collum tali axis and 2nd met axis is 32 degrees

The 1st Metatarso-phalangeal joint space is almost obliterated centrally and could soon ankylose.

Talo-navicular joint space is irregular with narrowing medial to the joint.

 

 

 

 

Six months post manipulation

DP viewdate- 06/06/01

Angle made by collum tali axis and 2nd met axis is 12 degrees (reduced by 19 degrees)

The 1st metatarso-phalangeal joint space has widened centrally

Opening of the medial portion of the talo-navicular join

 

 

 

 

 

Pre manipulation

DP view- date- 11/10/00

Angle made by collum tali axis and 2nd met axis is 26 degrees

Talo-navicular joint space is irregular with narrowing medial to the joint.

 

4 months post manipulation

date- 12/02/01

Angle made by collum tali axis and 2nd met axis is 19 degre (reduced by 7 degrees)

Opening of the medial portion of the talo-navicular joint
