Manipulation of the Cyma line

Pre-manipulation

Note the anterior break in the cyma line

The talo-navicular joint is compressed plantarly

The calcaneal inclination angle is 36°

Post-manipulation

Note the opening of the calcaneocuboid joint

The calcaneal inclination has been reduced by 13°

The cyma line has been straightened to within normal limits
