Big Science

Have you got a PC that is not being used 24 hours a day and a connection to the Internet? If the answer is yes, then you can play a small but important part in various major scientific projects. The first of these is to be part of the SETI@home project, a Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence (SETI). If this interests you, then have a look at the SETI home page.
