Welcome!

The physics department at La Trobe welcomes enquiries from students with an interest in any branch of physics but particularly from those interested in Functional Materials and Surface Science, X-ray Science and Space Science.

We offer undergraduate programs leading to the award of Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science with Honours, Bachelor of Nanotechnology/Bachelor of Science, and Bachelor of Science (Honours)/Master of Nanotechnology. We also provide service courses for students enrolled in Engineering, Biological Sciences, and many other degrees.

Postgraduate programs lead to the award of MSc and PhD in the above areas of physics.
