Philosophy ProgramCritical ThinkingPhilosophy - Critical Thinking
Dr Kemp was releasing the results of a survey of 1260 Australian employers conducted for DETYA by ACNielson Research. THE AGE article continues:
How to add Critical Thinking to your CVYou can add Critical Thinking to your CV by including Philosophy 1 CRT in your degree. It is a unit that can, in principle, be added to any degree whatever, though in courses that have very limited opportunities for electives, or if you have completed first year, it may have to be taken as an overload subject. If you are in doubt about how to include Philosophy 1 CRT in your degree, speak to an Academic Services Officer in your Faculty Office. Philosophy 1 CRT is a 15 credit point subject.
This unit can be taken in two ways: face to face or OnlineYou can enrol in Philosophy 1 CRT in Semester 1 and attend the one lecture and a two hour workshop each week at the Bundoora Campus. You can enrol in Philosophy 1 CRT in Semester 2 and undertake the unit entirely online. You may want to do this because you cannot attend the Bundoora Campus; you have timetable clashes; you would prefer to do it in Semester 2; you wish to take a unit online and work at it with the flexibility that online classes permit. If you are currently enrolled in PHI1CRT and for whatever reason could not access WebCT, you can download the lectures here.
