La Trobe University Philosophy Program is pleased to host the 2008
conference of the Australasian Association of Philosophy at a
central location in the heart of Melbourne (map of venue)

Melbourne, often described as Australia’s most European city, will play host to three philosophy conferences in July 2008. The AAP conference will be preceded by the International Association for Philosophy and Literature (IAPL) conference, 30 June – 6 July, and followed by the fourth World Congres of Paraconsistency (WCP4) 13 – 18 July. To add to the excitement, the Australian Historical Association's Biennal Conference will be taking place alongside the AAP conference.

CALL FOR PAPERS
Papers in any area of philosophy are welcomed. The conference this year features six special SYMPOSIUM STREAMS as well as a number of GENERAL STREAMS.

Papers and abstracts for Symposium Streams must be submitted by 15 April 2008.
Titles and abstracts for General Streams must be submitted by 9 May 2008.
