Car Parking

The University is able to offer car parking fees as a salary sacrifice arrangement to all full-time and part-time employees (salary packaging is not available to casual staff). This scheme provides the opportunity to 'sacrifice' a part of cash salary in return for a benefit, in this case car parking fees. This means that the cost of the parking fee can be deducted from the pre-tax salary of employees, effectively reducing the amount of taxation paid.
