Academic Promotions

New policy and procedures

New Academic Promotions Policy and Procedures have recently been approved by Academic Board;

Academic Promotions Policy
Academic Promotions Procedures
Academic Promotions Evidence Matrix

Under the new integrated promotions model, one promotions committee will consider applications for promotion across all levels (A-E). Applications will be called in July 2009 and application forms will be available from People and Culture from 1 July.

The promotions committee will meet in September 2009 to consider the first round of submissions, and monthly thereafter throughout the year (except January and June) to consider applications.

Applications may be submitted at any time during the year. Applications need to be submitted to People and Culture and will be sent to the next available meeting of the Promotions Committee.
