Making the News

Be part of the action in this hands on workshop – Making the News.

In this workshop students will have the opportunity to work in La Trobe University’s Television Studio which will be set up and configured as a television news set.

Working with pre-prepared scripts and news stories/recordings, students will learn how to present a news broadcast while working as presenters, camera operators, audio operators, vision switchers and more. Technical staff will work alongside each of the key roles to assist the students in their duties. News stories are sourced from past university media students.
