Online Teaching Support Unit

Mission

The Online Teaching Support Unit (OTSU) facilitates and supports the University in its pursuit of excellence in learner-focussed teaching.   We work collaboratively with the La Trobe University community to provide services and support in this context and that of meeting the goals of the University’s Operational Learning and Teaching Plan 2007.

Aims

• To facilitate and support faculties' use of blended and online teaching and learning
• To ensure a theoretical and practical basis to our practice
• To support a high quality in the development and implementation of teaching and learning
• To be active in the external environment in order to maintain an awareness of technical and production trends being set by industry
• To support the introduction of new technologies in teaching and learning
