The Department of Clinical Vision Sciences, formerly School of Orthoptics, offers educational programs at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in clinical vision science, in particular the discipline of orthoptics.
Our undergraduate program includes specialist studies to prepare graduates for a career in clinical investigation of eye disease; diagnosis of eye movement disorders; non-surgical management of specific eye problems and vision rehabilitation techniques.
We are one of only two training schools for orthoptics in Australia. Our graduates are welcomed throughout Australia, South East Asia, North America and many countries in the European Union.
