Adding students
When you are satisfied with the design and tool preferences of your unit in the LMS you will want your students to obtain access to it. Access to units in the LMS is confined to students who are enrolled at La Trobe University and whose enrolment is valid in the Student Information System (SIS).
Student data from the SIS is fed into the database of the LMS and is updated nightly so that your unit Grade Book will always reflect the status of your students in the SIS.
For students to obtain access to your unit in the LMS, the Primary Designer must apply to Populate a Unit in the LMS with Student Data. You will receive email informing you that this process is complete and indicating when you can expect to see student data in the Grade Book. When the data is in the Grade Book, your students will be able to log in to your unit.
