NEW DATES FOR DROP IN SESSIONS SEP - NOV 2008
La Trobe University’s Learning Management System (LMS) is Blackboard/WebCT CE6. Use of the product name will gradually be phased out during 2008 and the University website and documentation will change to reflect this. Until this process is complete, please consider references to “WebCT” to be synonymous with the LMS.
Use of the LMS supports the University’s emphasis on blended approaches that combine face-to-face and technology supported learning.
LMS/WebCT Administration
Online forms for the following processes:
- New LMS/WebCT ID
- New LMS/WebCT Unit
- Should be submitted at least three weeks prior to the commencement of the teaching period.
- Assign colleagues to a LMS/WebCT Unit
- Populate a LMS/WebCT Unit
- Should be submitted at least two weeks prior to the commencement of the teaching period.

- 21/08/2008 Forthcoming Drop-In Sessions - Drop-In sessions are not intended as lengthy training sessions but are provided so that staff can drop in to have a specific query answered or a problem resolved. Although most of the Drop-In sessions will be conducted in Faculty computer labs, they are not restricted to staff of that Faculty.
- You can register your interest in attending a session by selecting the date and then, in the body of the email message, entering your name, School and specific query.
