Research interests and teaching

Sustainability education, outdoor education pedagogy (in higher education) , environmental education through outdoor education, outdoor education curricula (higher education and schools), community development through outdoor education, gender issues in outdoor education. I am currently undertaking a PhD investigation into the role of outdoor education pedagogy in developing higher education students' sustainability literacy .
