We have created the current video message in several formats which should overcome many technical issues. See the table below for advice about issues that can only be fixed at the user interface.

Internal speakers very small or volume not turned up. |
The volume has been optimised for sound quality. For maximum volume use headphones where available and check that the speaker volume is turned up via the speaker icon in the bottom RHS of the screen. |

Some people do not have administrator access on their computers. |
Speak with your local ICT person about loading Flash software onto your computer.
We have also provided the July video as a Quicktime movie as many people have Quicktime loaded on their machines. |
| The movie clip was a bit dark and the aspect ratio seemed off |
This is probably a product of user’s brightness and contrast settings. |
Adjust your monitor’s brightness and contrast settings. |
| “Page cannot be displayed message” appeared |
The user has probably not entered their username and password. |
Enter your usual La Trobe IT username and password when prompted. |

This time the transcript has been provided as an html file. This will overcome accessibility issues. |

Likely to be an issue with the individual Internet Service Provider (ISP) being used. |
There were many successful downloads over home ADSL connections but there will be some variation in speed depending on connections, hardware and settings/arrangements with your particular ISP |
