Advancing Clincal Education Course 2010
(Formerly the Quality Supervision Course )

The Foundation for Quality Supervision, in association with La Trobe University, Deakin University and Monash University offers the Advancing Clinical Education Level 1 course in 2007. This is a certificate course for health professionals supervising students who want to:

• expand supervisor knowledge, 
• develop supervisory skills, 
• explore supervisory alternatives, 
• consider new strategies for supervision, 
• increase confidence as a supervisor, 
• gain personal empowerment.

The course provides a specially designed learning experience focusing on quality supervision of students in clinical settings in health sciences. The course has sessions designed to cater for all learning preferences; traditional and experiential, interactive, challenging and innovative. Strategies for managing supervision in a time of decreasing resources are explored.

The course will be conducted over three Fridays or a three day block. The course is a La Trobe University approved Continuing Education Certificate.

Advancing Clinical Education Level 1 programs:
The course dates for 2010 are:

Programme 1: Wednesday 17th - Friday 19th February 2010 (3 day block).

Programme 1: 4th,18th & 25th June 2010 (3 Fridays).

Advancing Clinical Education Level 2 program:
The course dates for 2010 are:

Programme 2: 25th & 26th February & Friday 21st May 2010
