Neurological Rehabilitation: Theories To Practice (OCT5NRE)

This unit includes six one day workshops examining current research findings in neurosciences and focuses on adult stroke rehabilitation practice for qualified occupational therapists, and occupational therapists pursuing further studies through Masters by coursework degrees.

It explores theories and evidence-based practice related to motor learning, motor control, and neuroplasticity. These will be applied to case studies and students’ practice. It will also investigate new techniques in the assessment and retraining of somato-sensations.

Cost for unit:
$2,250 if taken as a single unit of study, or $1,225 for students enrolled in Masters degrees.
