OASIS stands for - Online Automated Scheduling Information
Software. OASIS is a system designed to make the messy task of organising classes in a
University environment a whole lot easier, and less frustrating for students, academics
and administrators alike.
OASIS is an Internet based application that students can access, to select their class
times for a particular unit, that they have registered for the current semester at
University. As a student user you can add and remove class times that you prefer, as well
as view your timetable of all class selections.
As an administrator of OASIS, you can add and remove classes, units, and even organisational units
from the system.
Obtaining information about details in the system is easy, due to the ability to print
reports direct from the Internet Browser. As well as this, you can perform maintenance procedures on the system such as backing up the database, and restoring past settings when
required.
This is version 2.1.1.0 of OASIS.
