Nursing & Academic Background:

Gerry Lee has worked as a nurse in cardiac, cardio-respiratory and cardio-thoracic wards in London from 1990 to 1999. She has completed a BSc in physiology and a Masters in Health Psychology at University College London. As well as working in the Division, Gerry is working in Preventative Health at the Baker IDI Heart & Diabetes Research Institute.

Research Interests:

  • The scope of the ECG in clinical assessment
  • Quality of life in people with coronary heart disease and heart failure
  • Diabetes management and coronary heart disease
  • The role of the Nurse Practitioner
  • Algorithm for trauma patients in resuscitation
