Background:
I am responsible for coordination of the science units in the undergraduate Bachelor of Nursing/Bachelor of Nursing Science courses offered at the Albury-Wodonga campus.
I am also involved in resource teaching of pharmacology and nursing therapeutics for various nursing units and electives.
In the Postgraduate courses I co-teach and coordinate the distance education package "Pharmacology for Nurses".
I am passionate about integrating science with nursing to make the study of the science component in nursing pleasurable and worthwhile.
Research
I am a biological scientist and I am interested in the research areas of "Environmental Health" and "Aboriginal Health".
Presently I am working on a study titled "Inequities of the Health Status of the local Aboriginal community".
I am available to assist Honours/Masters students with an interest in Aboriginal Health, Alternative Therapy, and I am involved in collaborative research with my nursing and rural health colleagues.
