Prospective Students

The Division of Nursing & Midwifery is one of the oldest and largest deliverers of high level nurse education in Australia and it has an international reputation for the quality and range of the courses that it offers.

We offer courses at five different rural and metropolitan campuses in Victoria and at four Clinical Schools based at major teaching hospitals as well as many affiliate hospitals. The Division has some of the finest Nursing Laboratories in Australia and has invested in highly realistic mannikins for simulation exercises as well as other simulation technology and e-Learning intiatives. These investments compliment our continued commitment to more traditional forms of learning and to maintaining a high level of clinical contact time in our courses.

We offer courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and we also provide continuing education courses for professional nurses and midwives in practice. We are the only University in Victoria to offer the Nurse Immuniser Program.
