Research Pathway
The aim of this Master of Nursing (Research Methods) course is to provide students with the knowledge and skills in the conduct of research. The flexible mode of delivery will be attractive to nurses and midwives looking to advance their career in research and scholarship. It will enable nurses and midwives from distant locations (including international) to enrol. Entry into this course is not contingent of an applicant having access to employment or clinical placement in a speciality field; this will be an attractive study option for international nurses. Applicants wishing to undertake a unit of study that requires clinical practice will require Course Coordinator, approval and will need to meet the requirements of the hospital assessment of competency and registration requirements of Nurses Board of Victoria.
Internationally, this course will be offered to students seeking a master degree level qualification from an Australian University.
