Industry Partners/Affiliates
The Division of Nursing and Midwifery has many industry partners and affiliates. These arrangements are in the form of Clinical Schools, Partnership Affiliations and Clinical Placement Agreements. There are many Clinical Placement Agreements throughout metropolitan and rural Victoria. The Partnership Affiliations involve both clinical placements and research activities.
Clinical Schools
The Alfred Hospital
The Alfred is a major tertiary referral teaching hospital. The hospital offers every form of medical treatment with the exception of obstetrics and paediatrics. It is also the state-wide provider for heart and lung replacement and transplantation; cystic fibrosis; burns; HIV/AIDS; haemophilia; sexual health; hyperbaric medicine and elective surgery. There are over 1200 nurses employed across a wide range of general and specialty areas including trauma, burns and emergency care.
The Northern Hospital (Northern Health)
Northern Health is the key provider of public healthcare in Melbourne's northern region. We work together to provide the highest quality, innovative health care services for our patients and communities, optimising our resources, and coordinating our efforts with other providers.
Northern Health operates five major public healthcare facilities across Victoria’s northern suburbs: The Northern Hospital, Bundoora Extended Care Centre, Broadmeadows Health Service, Craigieburn Health Service and Panch Health Service.

In 2008, the Division of Nursing and Midwifery signed an agreement and partnership with Aged Care Services Australia Group Pty Ltd (ACSAG), one of Australia’s leading providers of aged care.
