John Connor (Chief Executive Officer, The Climate Institute)

CEO since 2007, previously worked at World Vision where he was a co-convenor of the Make Poverty History campaign. He has been a leader in the Australian Conservation Foundation and the NSW Nature Conservation Council, is passionate about climate change, and is currently on the NSW Government's Climate Council.

Mary Crock (Professor of Law, Associate Dean (Research), University of Sydney)

Mary has worked in immigration and refugee law since 1985 and has authored 8 books, reports and articles in this field. She helped establish and run the Victorian Immigration Advice and Rights Centre Inc in Melbourne and is an Accredited Specialist in Immigration Law.

John Daley (Chief Executive Officer, The Grattan Institute)

One of Australia's leading public policy thinkers, with 20 years experience in the public, private and university sectors. He has worked for ANZ and McKinsey in a career that also includes expertise in law, finance, education, and workers compensation.

Robert Manne (Emeritus Professor and Convenor, Ideas and Society Program, La Trobe University)

A leading public intellectual and commentator, he is the author of Left, Right, Left: Political Essays 1977 – 2005; Making Trouble: Essays against the New Australian Complacency and three Quarterly Essays, most recently Bad News.
