Glyn Davis is Vice-Chancellor and  Principal of the University of Melbourne. Co-author of The Australian Policy Handbook, Professor Davis was previously Professor of Political Science and Vice Chancellor at Griffith University and Director-General of the Department of Premier and Cabinet in the Queensland Government.

Raimond Gaita is Emeritus Professor of Moral Philosophy at King's College, London, and Professorial Fellow at the University of Melbourne. He is the author of Good and Evil: An Absolute Conception and Romulus My Father. In 2009 he was awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of Antwerp for his contribution to moral philosophy.

Robert Manne is Professor of Politics  and Convenor of the Ideas and Society  Program at La Trobe University. A wellknown  public commentator, he is the  author of Left, Right, Left: Political Essays;  Making Trouble: Essays against the New  Australian Complacency and three Quarterly  Essays, most recently "Bad News".

Professor Margaret Gardner was  appointed as Vice-Chancellor of  RMIT University in April 2005, having  previously held the position of Deputy  Vice-Chancellor (Academic) at the  University of Queensland. She has  extensive academic experience, having   held various leadership positions in Australian universities throughout her career.
