La Trobe 50th Anniversary exhibition

To mark its 50th year, La Trobe University will host an exhibition in Queen’s Hall at Parliament House from Monday 6 to Friday 10 March 2017.

The exhibition will include a range of displays, events and announcements showcasing La Trobe’s rich history and achievements, and detail how we will continue to serve our communities and connect with industry in the future.

The exhibition is free and everyone is welcome.

Guests will be able to Meet Our Researchers who will share their expertise in areas as diverse as sports, cancer research, international relations, autism, food security and disability services.

The exhibition will showcase a number of University initiatives, including a program designed to increase cyber security skills in secondary schools, our case for a regionally based medical school, a new $150 million high tech sports park in Northern Melbourne and a new initiative announced on International Women’s Day.

Visitors will get a first-hand glimpse of the University’s world class archaeology expertise and view a real life dig-site via virtual reality.

We invite you to join us at Parliament House to find out more about our extraordinary history and our ambitious plans for the future.
