Sustainability in KL panel discussion

generations-logoLa Trobe University, Australia, will host a critical panel discussion at the Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur celebrating close to 160 graduates at the Grand Hyatt Singapore on Saturday 24 September.

The panel—Key sustainability issues in Malaysia— will cover important Issues of water sustainability, Improving the sustainability performance of banks focusing on market, social and environment in Malaysia and be followed by a La Trobe University Alumni and friends dinner.

The event is in place to engage and strengthen the relationships between La Trobe and its 2500 alumni based in Singapore and 1500 alumni based in Malaysia while enhancing the broader communities through higher education.

Moderating the discussion will be La Trobe’s Professor Carol Adams, Pro Vice Chancellor Sustainability and will include Mr Kay Luan Tay, CEO at the  Institute of Bankers Malaysia and Industry Adviser at Graduate School of Business University Sains Malaysia, Dato’Teo Yen Hua the first Chief Executive Officer in National Water Services Commission (SPAN), Rikke Netterstrom is an Executive Director of CSR Asia based in Malaysia and Professor Yasmin is Undersecretary (Head) of the National Biotechnology Division within the Ministry of Science, Technology & Innovation (MOSTI), Malaysia.
