‘More Than Words’ is a fusion of Persian and Chinese text, and of Graphic Design and Visual Arts. It centres on our experiences and struggles as foreign students in a distant land and deals with the notion of ‘belonging’. A combination of text, symbols and imagery seeks to capture our emotions and thoughts that, we believe, are beyond words and universal. It speaks not only for all foreigners, but the stranger in every individual’s unfamiliar territory.
